NAVA 1" Brominating Tablets, 25 lb

NAVA 1" Brominating Tablets (BCDMH) are EPA approved, and tableted in the USA. Bromine Tablets are powerful and an effective sanitizer similar to chlorine, yet it is much less irritating to your skin and eyes. Bromine tablets have much less odor than chlorine based products. These tabs are packaged in 2 lb bags for easy handling.

Directions for Use:
RESIDENTIAL POOLS: Add 17 tablets per 10,000 gallons every 5-7 days or as needed to maintain a bromine residual of 2-3 ppm at all times. Apply a weekly treatment through the use of a floating tablet feeder such as the Multi-Chlor or an automatic brominator which will allow you to adjust the amount of bromine entering the water.

SPAS: Before initially using NAVA 1" Brominating Tablets in your spa or hot tub you will need to add 1/2 oz of sodium bromide for each 100 gallons of water. The same treatment should be followed each time you drain and refill your spa or hot tub with fresh water. Introduce 3 tablets per 300 gallons of spa water with the use of a floating tablet feeder or automatic brominator installed on the spa equipment. Adjust tablet feeder or brominator to obtain an active bromine residual of at least 2 ppm. Maintain spa by adding 3 tablets per 300 gallons every 5-7 days or as needed to maintain an active bromine residual of 2 ppm at all times. Spa water has a tendency to foam and cloud; this is directly proportional to the amount of spa use. Cloudiness is due to the accumulation of body fats, oils and contaminants too small for the filtration equipment to remove, and is linked to rapid escalation of total dissolved solids in the water. To a great extent, defoamers, clarifiers, as well as shock treatments, demineralizers, or sequestering agents can be used to clear the water. When water clarification can not be achieved, draining, cleaning, and refilling the spa is recommended.
