NAVA Calcium Hardness Increaser will raise the calcium hardness of the pool water to a minimum level of 200ppm. If levels are below 200ppm, this can be very destructive and could damage plaster surface, lead to corrosion of pool equipment. If levels are above the recommended amount of 200ppm, this can lead to cloudy water and scaling.

Directions for use:

  • 5 lb treats 10,000 gallons to raise hardness 40ppm.

Keep Calcium Hardness at 200ppm for best results.

  • 1. Measure the calcium hardness in your pool water.
  • 2. If calcium hardness is below 200 ppm use the charts shown to determine the correct amount of this product to use.

Calcium Hardness level 50ppm:

  • Add 3 lb per 5,000 gallons
  • Add 6 lb per 10,000 gallons
  • Add 13 lb per 20,000 gallons
  • Add 19 lb per 30,000 gallons

Calcium Hardness level 100ppm:

  • Add 6 lb per 5,000 gallons
  • Add 13 lb per 10,000 gallons
  • Add 25 lb per 20,000 gallons
  • Add 38 lb per 30,000 gallons

Calcium Hardness level 200ppm:

  • Add 13 lb per 5,000 gallons
  • Add 25 lb per 10,000 gallons
  • Add 50 lb per 20,000 gallons
  • Add 75 lb per 30,000 gallons
