Inlays Glass Overlay Installation Instructions

1. Prepare Surface

  • Lower the water level
  • Surface should be free of any deposits or bacteria and totally dry
  • Follow directions on caulk adhesive

2. Apply Adhesive to Glass Marker

  • Apply a generous, even amount of adhesive to the entire back side of the overlay using a 3/16" notched applicator

3. Install Marker

  • Press the overlay on to the application area by applying fingertip pressure, moving the overlay slightly to allow air to escape
  • Excess adhesive should appear around the perimeter. To achieve the required sealed edge this excess should be smoothed out by tooling or by fingertip. The entire perimeter must be sealed for long lasting results
  • Certain drying conditions may cause overlay to sag, apply tape over the area until properly set
  • Minimum drying time is 12 hours

4. Care and Maintenance

  • Use non-abrasive cleaners
  • In areas where pools freeze over during the winter, water levels should be lowered to prevent damage
  • Save the installation kit for any future repairs or installations
  • Clean up with acetone
