Solar Cover Limited Warranty

PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLING COVER

Your new Solar Cover is guaranteed by the manufacturer to be free from defects in the material and workmanship under normal use in accordance with the Manufacturer's Installation and Use instructions. Purchaser shall pay all freight charges to and from factory for any pool cover, or pool cover part, to be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse of the product, or alteration or modification of the product after your purchase. Ordinary wear and tear, and/or determination due to improper storage or exposure of the solar cover (when out of water) to the sun, shall not be considered a defect in workmanship or material. Installation/Use

Place cover flat on the surface of the pool water bubble side down.
The cover can be cut to fit the unique dimensions of the pool without voiding the warranty.
When cover is rolled or folded, whether on the water or not, it must be kept out of the sun by covering it with an opaque cover or by placing it in the shade.
Remove solar cover when shocking or super chlorinating the pool.
DO NOT put SOLAR BLANKET on water within 8-10 hours after super chlorinating (Shocking).
DO NOT use the solar cover if water temperatures exceed 90 degrees.
DO NOT store your SOLAR BLANKET at temperatures above 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
CAUTION: This is not a safety cover and is not designed to support people. Children should be advised. The solar cover must be removed from the pool before swimming to avoid the risk of drowning.

Terms of Guarantee

This pool cover comes with a prorated limited warranty. From the date of purchase, should the cover exhibit defects per the limitations, the original purchaser shall pay the following percent of the manufacturer’s suggested list price at the time of the replacement plus a $20.00 shipping fee. Please note, if a warranty claim is made and a new solar cover is sent, any additional warranty claims are from the date of original purchase and not the date of receipt of replacement cover. Please see below for proration details.

Limitations

The following defects ARE COVERED under warranty:
Delamination – This occurs when the 2 layers of the solar cover start to come apart or separate.
Seam Separation – This occurs when the seams that hold the sections of cover together come apart.

The following issues are NOT COVERED under warranty:
Bubble Damage - This occurs when the bubbles on the solar cover start to fall off. This is a chemical problem and often caused from the pool water not being properly balanced.
UV Damage – This is caused by exposing the solar cover to the sun while removed from the pool (improper storage).
Damage caused by animals. Misuse, discoloration, fading, or color bleaching out. Tears, rips, or cracks caused by the claimant.

This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties, replacement of defective products as provided under this warranty is your exclusive remedy. The manufacturer will not be liable in contract of tort for any direct, consequential, special or incidental loss or damage arising out of inability to use this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
